Partners RINA and ACCIONA represented REFRESH at the European Wind Blade Recycling Summit 2025 in Berlin on 11-12 June.

Project coordinator Daniel Grisenti of RINA and ACCIONA’s Anurag Bansal teamed up on the REFRESH presentation to explore the project’s innovations: from wind turbine blade dismantling, shredding and sorting technologies, to customised recycling processes, and design of new products incorporating the recycled materials.

In REFRESH, ACCIONA is exploring ways of integrating secondary materials resulting from the REFRESH recycling solutions into products for the construction sector. Three prototypes ar being developed (read more here).
